✈️ Requirements for Bulgaria Tourist Visa (Short‑stay Type C, up to 90 days)

1. Valid Documents

   • Passport issued within last 10 years, valid for at least 6 months beyond entry date

   • At least two blank consecutive pages 

2. Photos

   • One colour passport‑size photo (3.5 × 4.5 cm; white background; taken within 6 months) 

3. UAE Residence Visa & Emirates ID

   • UAE residence visa valid for at least 3 months beyond intended arrival in Bulgaria 

4. Application Form

   • Completed and signed in blue ink, in English or Bulgarian 

5. Travel Itinerary

   • Round‑trip flight bookings to/from Bulgaria 

6. Accommodation Proof

   • Hotel reservations or prepaid vouchers showing stay details in Bulgaria

7. Travel Insurance

   • Minimum €30,000 medical coverage valid for the entire stay 

8. Financial Means

   • Stamped original bank statements for past 3 months; proof of funds average €50/day (min €500/visit) 

9. Employment Status

   • Employed: NOC + salary certificate on company letterhead

   • Self‑employed: Trade license + bank statements

   • Students: Enrollment proof + sponsor’s bank letter

   • Unemployed/spouse: Sponsor’s NOC & proof of funds gokite.

10. Minors (<18)

    • Birth certificate; parents must sign form + notarized parental consent (if only one parent is signing) 

💼 Requirements for Bulgaria Business Visa (Type C, multi‑entry)

Includes all Tourist Visa documents, plus:

• Official Invitation Letter

  • Issued via Bulgarian Migration Directorate and notarised gokite.

• Cover Letter from Your Company

  • On letterhead, stating company details, purpose of trip, dates, and confirmation of return.

• Financial Documents

  • Company bank statement or your personal bank statement; income tax returns may be needed 

• Other Business‑related Proofs

  • Such as old passport copies, previous visas, or work permits if requested.

  • Apply up to 3 months before, but no later than 15 days prior to travel visa.

• Schengen Access

  • As of 31 March 2024, Bulgaria issues Schengen visas, granting access to the entire Schengen area visa.
